Lovekyn Chantry Lodge

The Worshipful Master, W Bro David Ford, and Brethren welcome you to the website of Lovekyn Chantry Lodge No 6807, the Masonic Lodge associated with Kingston Grammar School, Kingston-upon-Thames, in the Province of Surrey, England.

The Lodge meets four times a year, in February, April (Installation), October and December in the Lovekyn Chantry Chapel, across the road from the school, and dines in the school dining room. The Chapel was consecrated in 1309, making it one of the oldest Lodge meeting places in the country. The full meeting schedule, and details of the next meeting, can be found on the Meetings page.

The Lodge was founded in 1949 and in 2009 celebrated its 60th anniversary. It was founded by a group of old boys, masters and others connected with the school. The Lodge is a member of the Federation of School Lodges, and a group of members from the Lodge attend the annual gathering of the Federation each year.

In addition to the four main meetings, the Lodge has an active Lodge of Instruction, which meets on Mondays. There is also a busy programme of social events, involving wives, partners and friends, including one or two weekends away each year.
